Terms and Conditions – Behavioural Profile Purchases

These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of DISC and SDI behavioural profiles and any associated interpretation sessions provided by One Degree.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Scope of services

One Degree provides behavioural profile assessments (DISC and SDI) and, where selected, 1:1 interpretation sessions delivered online.

Behavioural profiles are designed to support self-awareness and understanding of behavioural preferences in workplace contexts. They do not constitute psychological diagnosis, clinical assessment, or evaluation of capability, competence, or performance.

2. Profile delivery

Behavioural profiles are issued manually.

Once payment has been received, you will receive your assessment link within 48 hours. In most cases, profiles are issued sooner, but the 48-hour window allows for accurate setup and quality control.

Profiles are delivered digitally.

3. Interpretation sessions

Where an interpretation session is purchased, it will be delivered as a confidential 1:1 online session of approximately 60 minutes.

Interpretation sessions focus on translating behavioural profile insight into practical understanding of how behaviour is experienced in real work situations, including how it may shift under pressure.

Interpretation sessions are not coaching, therapy, counselling, or performance evaluation.

4. Appropriate use of behavioural profiles

DISC and SDI profiles describe behavioural tendencies, not fixed traits. Results should always be interpreted in context.

Profiles and interpretation sessions must not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions, including recruitment, selection, promotion, redundancy, or disciplinary action.

One Degree accepts no responsibility for misuse of profile information outside its intended purpose.

5. Consumer cancellation rights

Under UK consumer law, you may normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for services purchased online.

By purchasing an interpretation session, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The service is time-specific and delivered on a scheduled basis.

• Interpretation sessions are non-refundable, irrespective of notice given.

• Your statutory right to cancel does not apply once the service is scheduled and delivery arrangements are in place.

This does not affect your statutory rights where applicable.

6. Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling

Due to the nature of digital assessments and time-reserved professional services:

• Once an assessment link has been issued, behavioural profile purchases are non-refundable.

• Interpretation sessions are non-refundable, irrespective of notice given.

• Interpretation sessions may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment using the provided booking link.

• Interpretation sessions cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

If you believe an error has occurred, please contact One Degree promptly.

7. Confidentiality and data handling

All profile data and interpretation discussions are treated as confidential.

Personal data is processed and stored securely in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Profile data may be shared with licensed assessment platforms solely for the purpose of delivering the assessment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Degree’s liability is limited to the value of the service purchased.

One Degree shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use or interpretation of behavioural profiles or interpretation sessions.

9. Changes to these terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply.
